Our proprietary EPSX™ Technology enhances the moisture and insect resistance of Expanded Polystyrene with the natural moisture-resistant properties of wax to create a more breathable, longer-lasting insulating barrier in most applications.
The polystyrene/wax matrix prevents R-value decay caused by trapped moisture and establishes a vapor-permeable barrier to prevent rotting caused by prolonged exposure to moisture. Our ThermalStar® X-Pro™ rigid insulation also includes code-approved termite resistance for use in all climates and applications, is covered by a 20-year R-value warranty and backed by an industry leader.
Proprietary Wax Matrix Construction
Moisture penetration is the #1 threat to the integrity of your structure. The proprietary EPSX™ insulation wax matrix forms a natural barrier against moisture. Long-lasting thermal performance ThermalStar® X-Pro™ rigid insulation has been proven to absorb minimal moisture. Integrated Termite Resistance
Termites can do serious damage to untreated building materials. With ThermalStar® X-Pro™ rigid insulation, a proven termiticide is integrated into the chemistry of the product and is not a surface coating.
